Animal cruelty suspects agree to turn over dozens of seized animals

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A San Antonio couple agreed to surrender all of their animals after they were seized by Animal Care Services earlier this month.
The city department said that agreement was made before a court hearing Thursday.
Animal Care Services seized 18 dogs, seven cats, two tortoises, a rooster, chicken and turtle were all seized from a house in the 1500 block of Avant on September 13th.
The animals were found living in inhumane conditions.
The two suspects — a 43-year-old woman and a 50-year-old woman — could face animal cruelty charges.
