Another S.A. Police Chase

Another police chase ends with a crash in San Antonio.

This time it all began early Thursday Afternoon when a stolen car crashed in to a van near Thousand Oaks and Wurzbach Parkway.

“It spun the van around, and the car kept going” James Keith with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News.

From there, the chase continued for about ten minutes before finally coming to an end near Bitters and Thousand Oaks–not too far from where it began.

“They lost control of the car, and ended up crashing through a rock wall that surrounds someone’s home” Keith said, adding “They ended up going through several trees before parts of the vehicle began coming apart under the engine.”

Two young women are now behind bars.

“Inside the car was an 18-year old woman and 16-year old girl. We did determine the car was stolen yesterday (Wednesday) inside San Antonio City Limits” Keith said.
