Arnold Schwarzenegger ‘not pressing charges’ after attack
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger says he won’t press charged against the man accused of drop kicking him over the weekend.
A video that went viral Saturday shows the “Terminator” at an Arnold Classic Africa event in Johannesburg, South Africa. Schwarzenegger was using Snapchat when a man kicked him in the back.
“A lot of you have asked, but I’m not pressing charges,” the former Republican Governor of California tweeted. “I hope this was a wake-up call, and he gets his life on the right track. But I’m moving on and I’d rather focus on the thousands of great athletes I met at @ArnoldSports Africa.”
The 71-year-old star wasn’t hurt, and security personnel immediately subdued the suspect.
Schwarzenegger tweeted that “there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot.”
