Arson investigators look for cause of fire that damaged home on San Antonio’s East Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A home that was still under construction has been damaged by a fire.

It was just before 2 A.M. when the call came in from Sherman Street on San Antonio’s East side.

The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived and they were able to extinguish the flames quickly, but not before part of it collapsed.

Since the home wasn’t complete, nobody was inside and no firefighters were injured.

Arson investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
