BCSO civilian employee fired after arrest for driving stolen car

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) -A civilian employee of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has been fired after being arrested for driving a stolen car.

Thirty-six-year-old Michael B. Thompson was arrested Friday night by the Sutton County Sheriff’s Office.

He was a probationary employee assigned to the Justice Intake Center in Bexar  County since October.

“There is no way this person did not know the consequences of his actions. His short career with the BCSO is now over,” said Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
