BCSO: Daughter charged with murder after mother stabbed to death

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The daughter of a woman stabbed to death in West Bexar County is now facing a charge of first-degree murder.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says Rachel Zamarripa, 21, called 911 after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday to say that she had stabbed a family member. Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Farnsworth Drive, and upon arrival they say Linda Zamarripa, 58, was found and then rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
KSAT-12 reports Zamarripa was described as the victim’s caregiver.
