BCSO: Man arrested in connection to murder of woman on East Side
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office may have the person responsible for the murder of a woman who went missing after taking a walk Sunday morning.
Marco Flores, 38, was arrested after he was initially charged with evading arrest after the body of Stacy Dramiga was found Monday. Investigators say Flores knew details about what happened to Dramiga that had not been released to the public. According to KENS 5, Flores was told he would be detained, but detectives say he took off running before he was tackled and arrested.
Dramiga was killed while she was walking near Dafost Park Sunday morning.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner now says Dramiga was killed via blunt force trauma and penetrating trauma to the head.
Dramiga was reported missing Sunday night after she never came back from a walk in the Salado Greenway earlier that day. Her body was found Monday and her death was immediately ruled a homicide.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s is asking anyone who was in the area that day taking pictures or rolling video to come forward.
