BCSO: Drugs, cash, weapon seized in drug bust, 2 arrests

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is giving details on a drug bust on the Northwest Side that has two people facing charges.

In a post to Facebook, BSCO says it all started with a traffic stop near the 8700 block of Mountain Breeze on August 1. As deputies made contact with the driver, they say there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. At that point, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle.

Investigators say four pounds of marijuana was found, along with 20 grams of cocaine, 27 THC vapes, 36 grams of shrooms, and $39,000 in cash. Deputies say a stolen gun was also recovered during the search of a storage container.

Jacob Rodriguez was booked for two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance pg2 4 grams- 200 grams, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance pg1 4 grams- 200 grams, possession of marijuana 4oz- 5lbs, and unlawfully carrying a weapon. His girlfriend was also arrested in a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance 4 grams- 200 grams and possession of a controlled substance pg2 1 grams- 4 grams.

Both were booked and transported to the Bexar County Jail for their charges.
