BCSO: Sexual assault suspect rearrested on child pornography charges
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man accused of sexual assault of a child is back in the hands of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
The Fugitive Apprehension unit arrested Gabriel Velasquez on Wednesday after investigators say they found 56 video recordings of sexual material of children in his cellphone, some possibly as young as four years old. In addition to the videos, BCSO says more than 75 explicit images of children were also found in the phone.
Velasquez was on house arrest with an ankle monitor as a condition from his arrest back on June 26. In that case, he was arrested, along with several suspects, and charged with sexually assaulting a child.
Velasquez now faces additional charges of child pornography younger than 10 years old and possession of child pornography over 50 files.
