Bexar County Clerk’s Office warns residents of latest round of scam calls
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The Bexar County Clerk’s Office is getting a lot of phone calls about the latest phone scam.
According to a press release, residents are getting calls from someone stating that they have an outstanding warrant, and that they need to pay up, or go to jail.
The clerk’s office says, don’t send any money.
They say they will never contact a resident by phone and demand money, or any personal information.
If you receive what you believe is a scam call and you want to verify the authenticity of a call, hand up, and get in touch with the Bexar County Clerk’s Office.
