Bexar County Deputies arrest teenager for supplying weapons to a street gang

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Bexar County Deputies have arrested an 18 year old for supplying firearms to a street gang.

When a federal search warrant ay a residence in the 300 block of La Gloria Street, deputies found firearms in almost every room of the house, including automatic weapons and assault style weapons and pistols.

Deputies also confiscated a taser, ammunition, marijuana, cash and some digital scales.

They took Damien Mermella into custody. He’s currently at a federal detention center on federal firearms charges.

No other arrests were made during the search of the home.
