Bexar County Deputies arrest two 13 year old boys who threatened Briscoe Middle School teacher

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Two 13 year old boys have been arrested for making threats to harm a teacher at a local middle school.

Reports are that the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, was called to Briscoe Middle School at around 10:30 A.M. Monday.

The boys reportedly threatened the teacher via text message. They were arrested for terroristic threat.

There was also a report that a student had brought a weapon to campus but deputies did not locate any weapons while responding to the calls.

Principal Christina Rather addressed the matters on social media late Monday, saying that all students and staff were safe.

She also updated families on a situation that took place at the school last Friday. There were two physical altercations and Rather says administrative action was taken in response.

There were also several posts on social media concerning a student who had planned to start a mosh pit in the hallway.

Rather assured families that staff will actively monitor hallways to make sure there is no disruptive or dangerous behavior.
