Bexar County Detention Deputy attacked by inmates

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Three Bexar County Jail inmates are going to spend even more time behind bars after attacking a detention deputy.

FOX 29 reports that the deputy was attacked and beaten by three gang members at around 7 P.M. Tuesday.

They were stopped by a cadet who used pepper spray on the inmates.

All three are charged with aggravated assault of a peace officer causing bodily injury.

The deputy had serious injuries to his face and upper body and was brought to a hospital.
