Bexar County Sheriff: Property owner finds human remains in West Side field

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A mystery on the West Side after a property owner found human remains while cutting the grass in a field.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar says the discovery was made Tuesday afternoon near Highway 90 and Pue Road.

He says the property owner mows down the grass in the field every year and found a human skull near a ditch.

Deputies were called to the field where they found the rest of the remains.

They believe the remains were that of a male due to the clothes they were wearing.

The property owner says they cut the grass in the field last year and the remains weren’t there at that time.

BCSO is going to cross-reference the remains with any active missing persons cases.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000.
