Bexar County Sheriff’s Office: Man accused of indecency with child arrested without incident
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — He’s accused of committing acts of indecency with a child several years ago, and now he’s in jail.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Gabriel Reyes called July 9 to report accusations made against him by a child victim who claimed they were inappropriately touched by Reyes several years ago.
Deputies began looking into the case and learned that Reyes was already being investigated by Child Protective Services.
BCSO says the victim was interviewed July 26 and reported Reyes committed acts of indecency against them and had been communicating with them through text messages.
Investigators found the evidence that backed up the victim’s story Thursday and took Reyes into custody without incident.
He’s been charged with Indecency With a Child, which is a 2nd degree felony.
The BCSO didn’t release information on where and when the reported abuse took place.
