Big Drug Bust in Bexar County

A big bust for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office–which takes a lot of marijuana off the streets.

“They had received a tip that there was some drug activity occurring at a home there” James Keith with the Sheriff’s Office told KTSA News, describing how deputies ended up checking things out at a home on West Woodlawn this week.

“(They) ended up finding 163-pounds of marijuana, six grams of cocaine, and three grams of black tar heroin–which is a significant amount of drugs” Keith said.

26-year old Dionicio Moreno was arrested, and now faces a number of charges.

“Typically, whenever somebody is in possession of this type of drug and the amount, they have every intention of distributing it” Keith said.
