Black cat makes end zone run during Cowboys, Giants game
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Halloween is over, but nobody told the black cat at Giants stadium. The cat darted onto the field during Monday night’s game in New York and ran through the Giants’ end zone before vanishing under the bleachers. Some fans are convinced it brought the Giants bad luck. They lost to the Cowboys 37-18.
Listen to the play-by-play …of the cat….by Westwood One’s Kevin Harlan.
Kevin Harlan’s Westwood One radio call of the cat on the field is, as you might expect, an all-time great call. How much of a pro is Harlan? He worked a sponsor read into it. pic.twitter.com/3x0MVNEHNY

New York Giants reporter Madelyn Burke tweeted that the black cat is one of the “resident stray cats” there.
Asked building security about the black cat on the field: Apparently there are some resident stray cats at MetLife— they usually come out after the game, people feed them, etc. They live in the bleachers, I’m told this one must have gotten startled out by fan noise #journalism
