Brawl at San Antonio River Walk restaurant caught on video

EDITOR’S NOTE: This story has been updated to correct the location of the incident.

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The San Antonio River Walk, known for its many restaurants, shops and attractions, resembled a UFC octagon Saturday night.

Police said officers rushed to a restaurant at 528 River Walk after a customer, who was upset over his bill and the service he received, thought it would be a good idea to settle his tab with his fists and throwing furniture.  Police declined to disclose or confirm at which restaurant it occurred.

Police said the irate customer threw punches and wrestled with restaurant staff until officers arrived.

The 30-year-old was arrested on a charge of assault and bodily injury.

Since this is 2022 and seemingly everybody is carrying a camera, the altercation was caught on video and has gone viral.

More charges could be filed against the man once police are done with their investigation.

Updated information reported by KTSA’s Christian Blood.
