Bud Light preaches to “Church Choir”, free San Antonio beer

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Bud Light is stepping in after Eric Church canceled on San Antonians to watch the Final Four.

Chruch announced Wednesday he is canceling his show in San Antonio on Saturday to watch his beloved UNC Tarheels take on Duke.

“This is also the most selfish thing I’ve ever asked the Choir to do: to give up your Saturday night plans with us so that I can have this moment with my family and sports community,” Church said in his announcement.

Bud Light is swooping in to save the Saturday for the “Church Choir” by offering a free round of beer at select restaurants on the River Walk starting at 8 p.m.

The eligible restaurants are Elsewhere, Coyote Ugly, Madd Dogs British Pub, Michelinos, Smoke — River Walk, and Thirsty Aztec.
