Business Up at SAT

Business is up at the airport.

San Antonio Airport’s total passenger count between January and November of 2015 was up 1.7%, compared to the same time period in 2014.

“It seems to be consistent and it seems to be going up every year,” SAT’s Evelynn Bailey said.

Domestic passenger numbers were up 1.1%, but the international passenger numbers were up 11.8% over 2014 numbers.

“People have choices,” she said. “And it’s nice to know that they’re consistently going through San Antonio, that’s a great thing, it’s good for everybody.”

November 2015 crushed November 2014 too, passenger count up more than 8%.
