Cab driver finds man’s body near downtown UTSA campus

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA) – San Antonio police are investigating a homicide near the downtown UTSA campus.

A cab driver discovered the body of a man  around 4:20 this morning on West Commerce Street near IH 35.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office removed the body just before 7 this morning and police reopened that section of West Commerce Street.

The cause of death has not been released, but a detective on  the scene told KTSA News it was “definitely a homicide.”
