The Western Conference Finals resume tonight and the big question is, can the Spurs win without Kawhi?
Jason Minnix at ESPN San Antonio says the fact that the Spurs were up by more than 20 points in game one with Kawhi but eventually lost the game without without him says a lot about how important #2 is.
Then factor in the Tony Parker injury and you’ve got a serious uphill battle for the Spurs.
Minnix says even with Leonard and Parker in the mix, beating a team as talented as Golden State is extremely difficult.
Should they drop game 2 tonight it’s creates a scenario in which San Antonio has to defeat Golden State 4 out of 5 times and Minnix says “If that happens, I don’t like the Spurs chances.”
Tip off time is at 8.
