SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A high speed chase involving a stolen car ends with a crash in a field.
It’s not an episode of “The Dukes of Hazard” ….it’s just another day in the life of a Guadalupe County Constable.
This recent attempt at live action Grand Theft Auto happened in Schertz on Monday .
A Guadalupe County Constable spotted a stolen car in the Southbound lane of IH-35 and tried to get it to stop.
Instead, the driver of the hot car switched over to the Northbound lane and tried to elude the Constable by exiting onto FM-1103.
The driver ended up crashing in a field on Hubertus Road.
He jumped out of the car and ran away. A female who was in the car with him was caught but the driver ran off. He was located and arrested several hours later. His name wasn’t released.
