Celebration of Life for San Antonio Radio personality Robert “Bobby” Lopez taking place Sunday

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A celebration of the life of a beloved San Antonio radio personality is taking place this weekend.
Robert “Bobby” Lopez, whose voice graced the San Antonio airwaves for many years passed away in February following a long illness.
Lopez, who is a member of the San Antonio Radio Hall of Fame, the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and the Tejano Roots Hall of Fame, brought his talents to some of the city’s most popular radio stations.
During his long career, his sat behind the microphone at not only KTSA but KTFM, Y100,KJ-97 AND KRIO-FM.
He also spent time at radio stations in Houston and Kerrville.
Friends, family and fans are all invited to gather to remember Lopez with food, a silent auction, music and memories this Sunday, May 22 from 1 P.M. until 5 P.M. at Plaza Guadalupe at 1327 Guadalupe Street.
