Is Your Child Safety Seat Properly Installed?

Is the child safety seat properly installed in your car?

That’s a question the Texas Department of Transportation is asking with another “National Child Passenger Safety Seat Week officially underway.

“When it comes to children, we want make sure that to remind parents that children be safely placed in a safety seat” TXDOT’s Laura Lopez told KTSA News.

Of course, that seat must be properly installed.

“On Saturday (September 24th) here at our TXDOT District Office–we will be holding an event… it is by appointment only–for folks that want to have their car seats inspected” Lopez said.

Research shows three out of every four child safety seats in cars are not properly installed.
