SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — If you had plans to spend part of the upcoming Labor Day weekend relaxing at a city or county park….you’re going to have to come up with a plan B.
Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff issued an Executive Order closing all county parks from midnight on Friday, September 4th, to midnight on Monday, September 7th.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg made a similar announcement concerning city parks.
Nirenberg says it’s due to concerns about the possibility that large crowds will gather in the parks for the holiday weekend during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
