LOS ANGELES (AP) – Clint Eastwood is taking nearly two dozen companies to court – because he says they’re suggesting he’s hawking CBD products.
The actor-director has filed a pair of lawsuits against the companies – who he says have used his name and image to plug their firms.
The suits say the companies have spread phony articles reporting that Eastwood had quit Hollywood to focus on businesses that sell products that include the active ingredient in pot.
The lawsuits say not only is Eastwood not involved in the CBD industry – he’d never even endorse it.
