Comal County coronavirus case count climbs to 22

CONVERSE, Tex. (KTSA News) — Comal County announced Monday morning its 22nd case of COVID-19 coronavirus.
The county said the newest patient is from New Braunfels and in their 40s. That person is self-quarantined. The source of infection was determined to be from travel outside of Texas.
Locations of Comal County coronavirus cases:
- Nine cases in New Braunfels or immediate area
- Four cases in the Bulverde area
- Three cases in eastern Comal County
- Three cases north of Canyon Lake
- One case in Fair Oaks Ranch
- One case in southwestern Comal County
- One case south of Canyon Lake
Sources of infection in Comal County have been:
- Nine travel related
- Six unconfirmed/under investigation
- Four community spread
- Three close contact with a known positive case
There are currently 13 active cases of the virus in the county with seven recoveries and two deaths.
