Comal County sheriff’s deputy shot serving warrant in Spring Branch

BEXAR COUNTY, Tex. (KTSA News) — A Comal County sheriff’s deputy was shot while trying to serve a felony warrant in Spring Branch Thursday.
The Comal County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were at a home on Springwood Road — which is off of Spring Branch Road in Spring Branch — trying to serve that warrant when the deputy was shot.
The deputy was flown to University Hospital in San Antonio with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has been arrested and the investigation continues.
