UNDATED (AP) – As a comedian, John Oliver can find a laugh or two in just about anything.

In this case, he’s been able to poke fun at himself after a Connecticut city decided to name its sewage treatment plant after him.

The mayor of Danbury said last week it would rename the facility after Oliver after the “Last Week Tonight” host went on a rant against the city.

Oliver now says if the city goes through with its plan, he’d donate $55,000 to charity.

Danbury mayor Mark Boughton said the city would name the sewage plant after Oliver – because the mayor says both the comedian and the plant are full of the same stuff.
