SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A 16-year veteran of the Converse Fire Department has lost his battle against COVID-19. Fire Captain Bryant Anderson is described as a selfless leader who played a vital role in department improvements and transitions.
Fire Chief Luis Valdez says Anderson often volunteered for additional tasks to help the department and community.
” Losing Bryant has left a hole in our hearts that will be felt for years to come,” said Valdez. “We are better for having known and served with him and ask for prayers for his wife, Rosie, and their family during this difficult time.”
The department will work with the family on a memorial service honoring Captain Anderson.
