Converse man shot while standing outside of his home

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Converse Police are looking for answers in the case of a man who was gunned down outside his home Sunday night.

It was just before 9:30 P.M. when the man was standing in front of his home on Margarita Hill, near Toepperwein.

Someone started shooting at the man, hitting him twice.

He was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

Police don’t have many clues to work with but they do believe the shooting wasn’t a random act of violence and the man was a target.

There is no description of the shooter and anyone with information is asked to call the Converse Police Department.
