Corpus Christi Police arrest woman for threatening shoppers over parking space

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Finding a parking spot at a grocery store the day before Thanksgiving can be like trying to find tamales the day after the holiday.

A 60 year old Corpus Christi woman took the search for a spot a bit too far when she pulled a gun on other shoppers.

It happened at a Corpus HEB last Wednesday afternoon.

Police report Rossie Dennis pointed a handgun and threatened to shoot shoppers over a parking space.

She didn’t shoot but she did create quite a scare for people simply looking to grab last minute items for Thanksgiving dinner.

Police were called to the scene and used video taken by onlookers to identify Dennis.

She was arrested Tuesday on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Bond has been set at $50,000.
