Council Updated on Bond Plans

Voters approved an 850 million dollar bond proposal last month and on Wednesday, City Council heard about how the money will be spent.

Before the presentation to Council members, Mayor Taylor thanked voters for approving the package that will keep the city moving forward.

Councilman Joe Krier remembered a time when voters would approve bonds but none of the work was getting done. He commended City Manager Sheryl Sculley and her staff with making sure work was underway on most of the projects approved in the last bond proposal.

The proposal will see improvements made to sidewalks, public safety buildings, parks and infrastructure throughout the city.
