Council To Vote On Tobacco Sale Changes

San Antonio may soon join 13 other cities around the country that ban tobacco sales to people under the age of 21.

The city plans to hold several community meetings including an online forum over the next few weeks.

The case will then be made to the city council at the end of November before they vote on the ordinance on December 7th.

If it’s approved, a six-month “soft launch” will follow before the law takes full effect next summer.
