Couple shot while walking at a San Antonio park

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — San Antonio Police are looking for whoever shot two people at South Side Lions Park.

At around 6 A.M. Monday, a man and a woman were walking in the park on Hiawatha when a man got out of a car, pulled out a handgun and told the couple he would kill them if they didn’t give up their money and phones.

They exchanged some words with the man before he opened fire.

They were both shot in their legs and their injuries are not life threatening.

After shooting the pair, the man got back into a car and drove off.

Investigators are still gathering information and the only description they have of the shooter is that he was a black man who was 20 to 30 years old.
