Cowboys Kick Off Camp

The Dallas Cowboys break the huddle on training camp Friday…

…with those always present high expectations.

“It’s Super Bowl or bust,” Jason Minnix of ESPN San Antonio’s THE BLITZ told KTSA News.

And, sure, the Cowboys would love to be in Houston at the end of the season, but, now, go ahead, be serious…

“Offensively, they have Super Bowl caliber team,” Minnix said. “USA Today predicted they’d go 9-and-7 and not make the playoffs and that’s because of their defense.”

It’s a defense riddled with suspensions to start the season, particularly along the front seven.

“It really is an organizational problem when you have three guys, really within the same positions group, missing games because of drug suspension,” he said.

The ‘boys will likely be the chalk in the NFC East, but “the rest of the NFC, you get in the playoffs and see what happens,” he said.

“For Cowboys fans, they’re going to the Super Bowl, just ask any of them.”
