Cowboys part ways with kicker Maher, sign Forbath

SAN ANTONIO (Texas News Radio) — The Dallas Cowboys have cut kicker Brett Maher and signed Kai Forbath in his place.
The team had a second round of workouts for possible kicker replacements Monday featuring Forbath, Nick Rose and Tristan Vizcaino.
Maher has missed one-third of all of his field goal attempts so far this season.
Forbath played for the New England Patriots in one game this season while Nick Folk was recovering from an injury.
