CPS Energy to host tele town hall for feedback on energy future

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — CPS Energy is inviting customers to a tele town hall on Tuesday, September 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The utility says it will be an opportunity to get feedback from the community regarding the future planning of energy in San Antonio through 2050.

CPS Energy’s President & CEO, Rudy D. Garza, will be on hand, along with other officials.

The utility says the tele town hall will cover several key topics including Vision 2027 and Horizon 2050. CPS Energy’s Vision 2027 is the utility’s plan to provide reliable and sustainable energy services. Horizon 2050 is a long-term plan that will address the future of energy in San Antonio through the next few decades.

Customers who want to take part in the tele town hall can watch live, in English or Spanish on the CPS Energy website, by phone, or live through the utility’s Facebook page.

A recording of the tele town hall will be posted on the CPS Energy website after the event.

Customers can share their feedback on Horizon 2050 through a survey available until December 31, 2024.
