Danish TV crew covers elections in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A Danish television crew is in San Antonio to cover the presidential election.  Rasmus Tantholdt with Denmark’s TV 2 says they have reporters in various states and his crew was assigned to the Lone Star State.  He said they did their research before deciding which Texas city to visit.

“The biggest parties and the biggest events on election night are actually in San Antonio,” Tantholdt told KTSA News. “This is actually the best place to be if we want some pictures and reactions from people on election night so we can see the real Americans and what they think during the night and after the results.”

He caught up with the Trump Train at Southside High School Tuesday and his producer was compiling a list of election watch parties.

“We can show a little bit about how the Americans celebrate on election day and how they campaign,” Tantoldt said.

He exlained that  the U.S. presidential race is of great interest to the people of Denmark. Danish troops have stood behind the United States on the battlefield.

“It’s a close ally and there’s a big interest in what the American President is doing.  It has an effect on all countries of the world,” Tantholdt said.
