SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Wendy Davis’ campaign for Congress is not even a week old and she’s already run into an issue.

A couple of campaign adsĀ  posted to social media may have been made in violation of state law.

The ads are being used to drum up campaign contributions and in at least two of them , Davis is shown standing in the chamber of the Texas Senate.

Apparently, you can’t do that.

The policies of the State Preservation Board and the Texas Senate state that political or campaign filming in the Senate chamber is prohibited.

Davis reportedly did not request permission to shoot the ads in the chamber.

The former state Senator is running against GOP incumbent Chip Roy in the 21st Congressional District.

The last time she ran for office was for Governor in 2014 but she lost to current Governor Greg Abbott.
