Delta Air Lines to launch nonstop service to Boston from San Antonio International Airport
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Before the end of the year, Delta Air Lines will begin nonstop service to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) from San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
Delta announced the news on Friday, saying Boston is an important market for the San Antonio community.
“This is fantastic news for San Antonians, especially our business travelers from our bioscience, technology and financial industries,” said Jesus Saenz, Director of Airports, City of San Antonio Aviation Department. “The airline has seen a staggering 20% increase in total departing seats compared to pre-pandemic and Boston is their seventh destination from San Antonio.”
Here’s what to know about the new flights:
- Service begins on November 11, 2024
- Frequency: Once daily, year-round
- Departs BOS for SAT at 9:15 a.m.
- Departs SAT for BOS at 2:00 p.m.
The airline’s other destinations from SAT include Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-JFK and Salt Lake City.
