Democrats for Ted Cruz growing with more endorsements

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz is announcing additions to his Democrats for Cruz Coalition.

These include Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, who joined him at a law enforcement and public safety rally and Sean Hannity interview last night in Houston.

Senator Cruz has recently worked hand-in-hand with DA Ogg in the aftermath of the murder of Jocelyn Nungaray at the hands of two illegal immigrants in Houston.

“I am proud to announce the newest members of the Democrats for Cruz coalition. These leaders deeply understand Texans’ needs and values, and they know that Colin Allred’s radical progressive policies, whether on the border, public safety, or economy, will push Texas back, not forward,” said Senator Cruz. “Since my election to the Senate, my priority has been to deliver results for Texans and to fight against bad policies that encroach on our Texan way of life, which is why I will continue working hand in hand with Republicans and Democrats across the state to ensure that we Keep Texas, Texas, in November.”

Senator Cruz says he is leading the fight to secure the border to successfully expanding Texas’ interstate highways, to securing bridge permits in South Texas, and advocating for NASA and space exploration. He also says these endorsements are a testament to his successful record working with Republicans and Democrats alike.

The full list of elected officials who are today joining the Democrats for Cruz Coalition is as follows:

  • Kim Ogg, Harris County District Attorney
