HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities say a Houston woman was shot and injured after complaining about loud music from a party.
KTRK-TV reports that the woman was in her apartment Saturday night when she yelled at a group that was having a party in her complex’s parking lot. The woman had asked the partygoers to turn off their music and go elsewhere.
Deputies say someone from the party went to the woman’s apartment and the two started throwing bottles at each other.
Investigators say then someone fired a shot from the parking lot, hitting the woman in her shoulder.
Authorities say the woman’s injuries are non-life threatening.
No charges have been filed in the shooting.
