Deputy Suffers Stab Wounds to Head and Neck

A Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputy is recovering from stab wounds to the neck and head.

He was responding to a call for a fight between a father and son at a home on Pearl Harvest. The Sheriff’s office says when the deputy arrived, the son pushed him and a struggle ensued. Both fell to the ground and the deputy was stabbed.

The officer was taken to a hospital for treatment of several stab wounds. The suspect also was injured and taken to a hospital for further evaluation. Charges are pending against him.
