SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A 25-year-old Georgia woman wanted a Moana cake, employees at a Dairy Queen in Milledgeville thought her mother said “marijuana.”
“I think they thought that she said marijuana because we’re from South Georgia and we kind of have an accent,” Kensli Davis told WMAZ-TV.
Those Dairy Queen employees aim to please, so they decorated the cake with an image of a marijuana leaf and a green My Little Pony.
“I guess when she said that I love cartoons, they were like ‘let’s just throw a (My) Little Pony on there,'” said Davis.
The pony with red eyes was smoking a joint. Davis handled the miscommunication with a sense of humor, saying she was very impressed by their artistic creativity. She posted a photo of the cake on Facebook.
The ice cream cake contained no marijuana ingredients, but Davis says it was delicious. She says her next birthday cake will have no theme.
