Divers recover man’s body in Canyon Lake

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – The Comal  County Sheriff’s Office reports the body of a 25-year-old man has been recovered from Canyon Lake.   The Houston and Harris County Dive teams, Canyon Lake Fire Department and Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens located the body of Luis Rodriguez who was last seen alive July 4 in the Party  Cove area.

Witnesses reported that Rodriguez, who’s from Mexico, jumped off a boat last Saturday and never came out of the water.   Justice of the Peace Judge Saunders pronounced Rodriguez deceased just before 6 pm Thursday.
