SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A longtime Hill Country business is closing its doors after nearly a century of serving customers.
The owner of Dooley’s 5-10 & 25 cent store in Fredericksburg says he will be retiring at the end of the month.
The store has been a staple in the community since 1923, selling odds and ends of all kinds at reasonable prices.
But Tim Dooley says supply chain issues are making it difficult to stock the items he sells and that had a major impact on his decision to retire.
The store had been owned by his father and his grandfather before Dooley took over.
Dooley’s will make it’s final sale June 30th.
