Driver arrested for DWI after hitting a pedestrian in downtown San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A woman is recovering at a San Antonio hospital after she was hit while crossing a downtown street.

At around 11 P.M. Sunday, the woman was with a group of people and as they were crossing at the intersection of North Alamo and 8th, a driver in a SUV hit her.

The 21 year old driver stopped and he’s been arrested for DWI.

The victim is in stable condition. Police say she was not in the crosswalk when she was hit.
