Driver charged with DWI after crashing into San Antonio patrol car

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – A woman has been arrested on a DWI charge after crashing into a police cruiser.

Police say officer Daniel Loudermilk was eastbound on Alamo Street at IH 35 when a driver ran a red light and crashed into his patrol car.

He suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene by EMS. Twenty-six-year-old Arahceli Hernandez was arrested on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated. Bond is set at 16-hundred dollars.
